The permanent residence program for skilled workers, who already have Canadian work experience and wish to become permanent residents is called Canadian Experience class
Who is eligible for Canadian Experience Class?
Minimum Requirement:
Work experience of 12 months of full-time or part-time in Canada and must apply within 3 years of obtaining the experience.
The work experience must be with proper work authorization
skilled work experience must be of skill type 0, A or B on the Canadian NOC
Experience can be 30 hours per week for 12 months or 15 hours per week for 24 months.
Any kind of self employment or employment gained while being a full-time student is not counted.
The candidate should be willing to live and work outside the province of Quebec
The candidates can take up any of the following IRCC approved language tests
CELPIP – General (English)
IELTS – General (English)
TEF (French)
TCF (French)
Take up medical examinations and obtain a security clearance.
Language proficiency in both French and English will be an added advantage.
PR visa for the Canadian Experience Class can be gained easily provided the candidate meets the required criteria.
